Event 4 – Stretch or Meditate

Purpose:  To encourage regular stretching and meditating.  Stretching is a form of physical exercise in which a specific muscle is stretched in order to improve the muscle’s felt elasticity.  The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility, and range of motion.  Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upan a sound, object, visualization, breath, movement or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.  This is a self-monitored event.
What You Have To Do: Participants must take 30 minutes, 5x per week to stretch and/or meditate.  Participant can do so by attending classes or do on their own.  This is a self-monitored event.
Dates of Event: This event runs 1/23 – 2/19 (4 Weeks).
Enrollment Form:  Waiver signed and faxed to office by Friday, January 13th.  Click “HERE” for waiver.
